Shamanic Journey with the Drum Join us for an evening of rhythm, journey, and connection as we explore the practice of shamanic journeying through the steady pulse of the drum.
Shamanic journeying is an ancient practice of entering an altered, meditative state through repetitive rhythm, creating space to turn inward, connect with the unseen, and listen for the imagery, insight, and wisdom that may arise. We’ll begin by settling into the space together and exploring the foundations of journeying before being guided into a drum-supported journey. You’ll be invited to approach the experience with curiosity rather than expectation. There is no “right” way for a journey to unfold. You may experience vivid imagery, sensations, emotions, memories, symbolic encounters, or simply a deep sense of rest and inward awareness.
Afterward, we’ll return gently and have time to ground, reflect, and share our experiences together for those who wish to.
